Full-length book design for H.G. Wells' sci-fi classic. Originally created as a sample for a class I taught on typography, I got so excited about it I went ahead and did the layout for the whole book. I wanted to harken back to the golden age of retro sci-fi with the color schemes while maintaining the story's timeless appeal. A flip of the page color halfway through the book signals the rising action as the Martians invade.
